Merleau-Ponty reader of Goldstein: what is organismic intentionality?

Abstract: The present study proposes an investigation into the reasons why Merleau-Ponty recognizes, in Goldstein’s incorporation of figure-ground notion from Gestalt Psychology, convergence between contemporary science and phenomenological philosophy. It is about understanding how, insofar as it reveals power centering that operates concreteness existence organisms surroundings, figure-background corresponds to operative intentionality. In same way, a matter showing what sense, form intentionality, does not need be based on presupposition “I think”.
